STEP 3: Attend your appointment at TLScontact

After finalizing your checkout process on TLScontact website, please arrive on time to your scheduled appointment at our Visa Application Centre.

You will be required to check-in at the welcome area and present both your passport and appointment confirmation email.

If you choose the Assisted Service, our staff will organize and scan your supporting evidence for you. Please print out or copy your original documents in A4 format before your appointment.

Please ensure that you come with the following documents to avoid any delay to your application:

  •  A valid passport or travel document and residence permit (both original and copy) in A4 format (if applicable);
  •  Any supporting documents which you intend to supply (as well as copies of all originals in A4 format);
  •  You must provide certified translations of any documents that are not in English or Welsh ( more details);
  •  The first page of your Visa Application Form;

If you choose the self-upload service, you will have to organize and upload all your supporting evidence online, before attending your appointment, so please ensure that you come with the following documents:

  •  A valid passport or travel document and residence permit (both original and copy) in A4 format (if applicable);
  •  The first page of your Visa Application Form.
Once checked-in, TLScontact will:

  •  Accept your application and documentation;
  •  Take your fingerprints and photograph to enrol your biometric data (unless you benefit from an exemption);
  •  Transfer your application to UK Visas and Immigration for assessment and processing.
Important Information:

Any minor applicant must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian when submitting their visa application. This parent or guardian should also be present during the biometrics process. UK Visas and Immigration may ask for additional information, documentation, or for an interview. If this happens you will be contacted via email with detailed instructions.

ATTENTION:

  •  Documents must not be stapled;
  •  Only A4 high-quality copies of your documents are accepted;
  •  Do not submit originals or valuable documents, as these can be damaged by scanner.
Failure to submit supporting evidence may result in delays and/or lead to the refusal of your application.

STEP 4: Passport return

Your travel document cannot be collected in the visa application centre where you applied. When the decision is ready on your visa application it will be sent to you with courier. For this purpose, you will be requested by our staff onsite to provide the preferable address where your passport will be delivered.

Once your passport has been collected by our courier delivery partner, you will be able to track delivery on their website. We will notify you by email when your passport is dispatched, along with information on how to track the delivery.

Would you like to receive notifications via text message? Please check if the Added Value Service ‘SMS Notification’ is available in the Visa Application Centre you are applying from.
